Neko Bus and Shizo Beetles

The NekoBus, like the Keio orange line train I took with Miki-san one night in a hurry after a painting and music session at Yukotopia, is a souvenir from last years Japan tour. Didn't get smashed in the plane surprisingly. Nor did the shizo wine I bought at duty free on the way back.

Found a fine stag beetle in my bag when I got home...

Midnight Kitchen

I have had this black kitten around for so long now. Its tail used to be a black swan I drew. Now the kitty keeps the oil off the wallpaper in the flat we rent. The kitten never grows old, only oily.

And opposite black kitty are 3 packets of Rilakumo candy pinned to the wall.

Rezzy&Sekine

Sekine and Rezzy, on the first day back in Tokyo, inviting me to Octopus delight beside the Ueno ponds where drunkards often drown, I was told. The blossom was still out and fought a battle against the muliticoloured vending machines growing in the most unusual places.

Blue Bird Bones' Blog for Yukiko the Witch

Thought I'd make use of this space given by Gandi, since that is what we do best as humans; take up space.

I was told that the purpose of the soul is try to fill an emptiness within that reflects the gastly unfathomed size of the universe. That is as true I would say as the eternal quest of every human to somehow pretend to fill a particular space that we were all ejected from. To regain the paradise lost of the forgotten chamber (womb) isĀ our obsession. We try to fulfill this desire in many ways, in metal cars of safety, in cuddly homes where nothing snaps, in baths and beds, in the bubble of internet and mobile phones. Sex is prodding eternity (in parallel with the erased 9 months of our lives). Couples, etc, do this like an unsuccessful exorcism.

On another level, YUKIKO THE WITCH just played live at les Arcades in Faches Thumesnil (59) France. Sir G Danset took some great photos there that were mainly focused on the Urusei Yatsura film we projected on a screen behind us. The effect is quite surprising and we will be using Lamu chan as often as possible.
